Sexual and reproductive health care includes things like birth control, testing or treatment for STIs, HIV testing, and pregnancy testing. If you are under 18 years old, you can receive sexual and reproductive health care services without a parent or guardian present. You can request a confidential visit at the time of your appointment. The doctor is not allowed to disclose your visit to anyone without your permission.
STI & HIV Testing
We provide testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including chlamydia, gonorrhea and other infections you can get from oral, vaginal or anal sex. We also provide HIV testing and PrEP/PEP, a medication that helps prevent HIV.
Birth Control
We provide birth control such as the pill, the patch, the ring, Depo-Provera (“the shot”) and condoms. We also offer or refer patients for other forms of birth control such as intrauterine devices (IUDs) or implants, which are long-acting reversible contraception.
If you need emergency contraception, commonly known as the “morning after pill,” or other urgent sexual and reproductive health services, you can visit us without an appointment. It’s important to remember that emergency contraception can lower your chances of getting pregnant if you take it within 5 days (120 hours) after unprotected vaginal sex. However, it works best when you take it as early as possible — the earlier, the better!
Pregnancy Testing
You can get a pregnancy test at no cost at one of our clinics. The test and results are all kept confidential. Our staff will take time to review the results and options to help you decide what works best for you.
